We try our best to make our products, not only eco-friendly, but also sustainable. Yes, they are friendly to our planet. But also, they are increasingly sustainable, in that they help to address a wide range of issues that are likely to compromise or impact on future generations.
But we are not complacent!!
We are mindful of how our choices affect those who make our accessories.
We have a small number of weavers, knitters, a felt maker and a leatherworker, that we work with closely and directly. They create products to agreed specifications, supplying Jecasso with their colourful, unique and environmentally friendly products. We negotiate fair prices directly with our makers including a percentage of our profits for our innovative belt makers.
Good Communications makes a Happy Business
Our weavers and knitters use pure, organic wool from sheep reared in the pastures of East Azarbaijan province, by local farmers and nomads.
One of the striking and original features of our unique belts are the handmade wooden rings made by a talented wood artist.oThey are made of walnut from the Kurdistan province of north west Iran.
The handcrafted leatherwork on our belts is made from first grade cow and goat hide.
Slow fashion is about producing high quality items that will last longer, unlike the cheap and disposable items that fast fashion brands churn out. This means that slow fashion brands like JECASSO, place emphasis on important issues like fair labour practices, sustainable materials and local manufacturing.

Our made-to-order model represents a more ethical and sustainable approach because there is no over production, reducing the risk of excess unwanted stock going to landfills. Our made-to-order clothes offer greater opportunities for customization and highlight the historically superb Persian craftsmanship. By producing garments only after a customer places an order, we are able to reduce waste and the environmental impact of overproduction.
Our current designs are available on our website. Once you place your order, we contact the relevant maker and it will be made and sent directly to you. This minimises air miles.
